Brighton Youth Ultimate (BYU) is one of the founding locations of Youth Ultimate UK. We provide a fun and inclusive space for young people across East and West Sussex to learn and play
Ultimate Frisbee.
Our weekly club trainings are based in Brighton & Hove.
U14 & U17 Training
Ages 8–17 welcome!
Train every week with two GB Ultimate players as your coaches at our indoor junior sessions at BACA.
Our weekly 2-hour mixed-gender sessions are designed to help young players develop their skills, learn the game and, most importantly, have fun playing Ultimate. Whether you're completely new to the sport or already playing regularly, everyone is welcome.
Players will be split into age and ability groups, so training can be tailored to the right level. Sessions will cover core skills, tactics and gameplay, with plenty of opportunities to put what you learn into practice.
When: Every Monday during term time, 18:00–20:00

Autumn Term: 14 sessions
7th September 2026 – 14th December 2026
Half term: 26th October – no session
Spring Term: 11 sessions
4th January 2027 – 22nd March 2027
Half term: 15th February – no session
Flexible payment options: Pay only for the sessions you attend, or book a 7-session or 14-session block.
No previous Ultimate experience is needed. Just bring a water bottle, wear appropriate sports clothes and come ready to play.
