At Youth Ultimate UK, we deliver fun, inclusive and high-energy Ultimate Frisbee sessions in schools across the UK.

Ultimate Frisbee is a fast-paced, non-contact team sport played with a flying disc. It is easy to learn, highly engaging, and uniquely powerful in developing teamwork, communication and fair play through Spirit of the Game, where players take responsibility for respecting and applying the rules themselves.

  • Ultimate Frisbee is one of the most inclusive invasion games available in PE.

    It encourages:

    • High levels of engagement from all students

    • Mixed-gender participation

    • Positive behaviour and communication

    • Leadership and responsibility

    • Resilience and fair play

    The self-refereed nature of Ultimate Frisbee encourages students to take ownership of their decisions, building honesty, communication and respect alongside physical development.

  • We work with all age groups from EYFS through to secondary school.

    Sessions are fully adapted:

    • EYFS / KS1 – movement, throwing games and coordination

    • KS2 – teamwork, skill development and structured games

    • KS3 & KS4 – tactics, leadership and competitive match play

    Ultimate Frisbee is highly adaptable and can be delivered successfully across all age groups, with activities and gameplay tailored to suit different stages of learning and ability levels.

  • We deliver Ultimate Frisbee sessions during the school day, either as part of your PE curriculum or as a dedicated taster or activity day.

    All equipment is provided, and we arrive early to set up and complete a risk assessment so the day runs smoothly and safely.

    Sessions are active, inclusive and designed to maximise participation.

    Students will:

    • Learn core throwing and catching skills

    • Play small-sided games and full matches

    • Develop teamwork, communication and decision-making

    • Experience Spirit of the Game (self-officiated play and fair play values)

    Every session is adapted to suit the age and ability of the group, ensuring all pupils can take part and succeed.

  • We also offer a structured Ultimate Frisbee curriculum designed for teachers who may be new to the sport.

    The programme is a fully structured 6-week scheme of work with step-by-step lesson plans, video demonstrations, Spirit of the Game resources, indoor adaptations, and simple assessment criteria to support both skill development and personal growth.

    It is designed to:

    • Reduce teacher planning time

    • Support confident delivery of a new sport

    • Increase participation in PE

    • Provide inclusive, mixed-ability learning opportunities

    Staff CPD sessions are also available to support delivery.

  • We supply high-quality Ultimate Frisbee discs suitable for school use, including:

    • Discraft J-Star discs

    • Discraft Ultrastar discs

    These are ideal for beginners and school environments.
