Our Approach to Youth Ultimate
We’re delighted to announce that Youth Ultimate UK has partnered with UK Ultimate, the national governing body for Ultimate in the UK, as a UK Ultimate Business Club Partner.
This partnership is an exciting step forward for Youth Ultimate UK as we continue our mission to bring more young people into Ultimate, create positive experiences through sport, and help develop the next generation of players.
At Youth Ultimate UK, our focus is simple: getting more young people playing Ultimate at every level. Whether a child is picking up a disc for the first time, playing casually with friends, joining a local club or developing towards competitive Ultimate, we want there to be a place for them in the sport.
At the heart of what we do is the joy of play. We believe every young person should have the opportunity to experience the fun, freedom and enjoyment that Ultimate can bring. For some, that might lead to competitive sport; for others, it might simply mean playing with friends and being active. Both are equally valuable.
Our work is about building the grassroots foundations of the sport and making Ultimate accessible to as many young people as possible. Through school taster days, curriculum sessions, teacher training, weekly clubs, holiday camps and youth events, we create opportunities for children to discover Ultimate in a fun, inclusive and supportive environment.
Alongside developing throwing, catching and game skills, our sessions encourage teamwork, communication, inclusion, honesty and Spirit of the Game.
Working with UK Ultimate
Our partnership with UK Ultimate will help us strengthen the connection between schools, youth programmes, grassroots clubs and the wider Ultimate community. By working more closely together, we can help create more opportunities for young people to discover the sport, enjoy playing and find their own place within the Ultimate community.
Between Easter 2026 and August 2026, Youth Ultimate UK worked with more than 6,500 students, alongside delivering four holiday camps, weekly training and teacher development. We’re excited to build on this momentum and reach even more young people in the years ahead.
